The UNM Children's Campus has diligently been working over the course of the weekend to determine next steps to ensure the health and wellness of the children, families, staff, visitors and community that we serve. With the evolving information related to COVID-19, the UNM Children's Campus has decided to suspend all observation, practicum, student teaching and related academic connection experiences until further notice.
March 15, 2020 - 2:30pm
In an effort to support the UNM Community during this incredibly challenging time, the UNM Children's Campus will remain open providing scaled back services ONLY to families with documented school or work requirements during the University's extended closure. Staff have been asked to reach out directly to families in their classroom to provide the necessary information and form that will need to be completed in order for children to be authorized to stay in our care beginning tomorrow, March 16th. The form can be found here: Care During Extended Closure.
Summer Camp Registration for Children's Campus alumni families will take place as scheduled, however to minimize the number of individuals in our building, it will be held outside in front of the white gates.
We are strongly encouraging families to stay home if they are able to in order to minimize unnecessary contact and help everyone stay healthy. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to navigate this constantly evolving situation. Please feel free to reach out to us at email@example.com with any questions regarding this information.
Stay well ~ Daniela
